Cabins at the Ranch

The first of three cabins is now open for bookings at the entrance of Honeysuckle Ranch which is a large, wooded property attached to the eastern side of Bee Tree Farm. Here, you can enjoy a comfortable stay in the solitude of the country but just 25 minutes from downtown Austin. Our three cabins are named after past matriarchs of the dairy herd: The Pearl, Jolene and Loretta. The Loretta is available now for bookings!

During your stay, you’re encouraged to book a private goat experience which can include either a walk with the goats through the forest on Honeysuckle Ranch or a private milking experience in the barn at Bee Tree.

GOAT EXPERIENCES FOR CABIN GUESTS

We love to share our amazing dairy goat herd and farm and ranch property with guests (the goats love it, too!). Guests in our cabins are invited to book a private goat experience which allows them a lot of one-on-one time with the goats and their guardian dog companions. The farm is owned by Jenna who, until recently, operated a commercial cheese facility and dairy on the Bee Tree property. Each of the goats was born on the farm, hand-raised by Jenna, and was (or is currently) milked on the farm. A private experience is led by Jenna who is always happy to answer any of your burning goat, dairy, or cheese questions! The Pearl Cabin

Named after one of Jenna’s first two goats, the Pearl is our smaller cabin designed to be used for bridal (or any other type!) prep as it includes a lovely antique, floor length mirror.

The room comfortably accommodates 2 adults for sleeping, includes sitting chairs, a small kitchenette, and a large soaking tub big enough for two.

The small side porch overlooks the Honeysuckle event barn and has a view of the western sunset. Tucked back into the woods, it is still just a few steps away from the event barn.

The Jolene Cabin

The Jolene, named after Pearl’s sister and Jenna’s favorite goat, is the larger of the two cabins.

While still close the Honeysuckle barn, it is nestled into the woods and boasts a queen sized bed, daybed with pull-out trundle and a small sleeping loft to comfortably accommodate a total of 6 guests. The kitchenette includes a small bar area and the full bathroom includes a walk-in shower.

Just off of the small front porch is a cowboy wading pool, large enough to lounge in with drinks during hot weather but complete with a heater for cooler months.

The Loretta Cabin

The Loretta is our only cabin located near the entrance of the ranch and is half a mile from the Honeysuckle barn and other, smaller cabins. This cabin is available for bookings now via Airbnb.

Loretta offers expansive prairie views and a gorgeous sunset from the back deck. Complete with a fire pit, deck, full kitchen and private bedroom, this cabin allows our guests access to the ranch property but sits at the edge of the woods.

Like her namesake, who was the Queen of county, our goat Loretta Lynn ruled as the herd queen for many years. We hope the quirky warmth and beauty of our girl Loretta is conveyed in the cabin we named in her memory!
